ORGANIC COMPOUNDS
Isomers:
Isomers are organic molecules with the same molecular formula but different structural formula and different properties. There are 3 different types of isomers:
Structural Isomers:
Structural isomers contain the same number of atoms but the location of the bonds is in different locations.
Geometrical Isomers:
Geometric isomers have different variability due to the double bond between carbon molecules. This results in the formation of trans and cis molecules.
Optical Isomers:
Optical isomers are exact mirror images of each other, or simply a reflection.
